TRAVEL GRANT TO ATTEND THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL VIETTESOL CONFERENCE

The VietTESOL Conference Organizing Committee is pleased to announce three types of travel grants for Vietnamese professionals to participate in the 3rd International VietTESOL Conference. They work in different areas of Vietnam and have great potentials of creating community impacts. These grants aim to accommodate different financial needs of up to 130 grantees.

ELIGIBILITY:

To apply for these grants, you must:

– work in the field of ELT in Vietnam for at least 2 years

– have English language proficiency level equivalent to B1 CEFL, 4.5 IELTS or 450 TOEFL paper

You are NOT eligible to apply for these travel grants if you:

– are a member of The 3rd International VietTESOL Conference Organizing Committee or a member of the host institution, the sponsors and the exhibitors

– are offered other travel grants.

Priorities will be given to those who can meet one of the following criteria:

– have paid the registration fee by 30 October 2017

– show strong commitment and action plans on developing ELT community in their working places

– work at primary schools, junior high schools or secondary schools in Vietnam

– have proposals accepted by the Conference Review Board.

To submit an application for these grants, please go to http://tinyurl.com/VietTESOLtravelgrants and complete your application by 17:00, Monday, 30 October, 2017. Successful grantees will be contacted no later than 15 November, 2017 through email and will be subsequently supported to complete related paperwork for participation in the conference.

Please notice that the grant will be not given to the grantees in advance. The reimbursement will be made at the conference.
